Concentration
How I can investigate the effect of concentration on reaction rate?
I am doing research in the next month effect of concentration on the reaction rate as part of my GCSE chemistry course. I have to investigate a factor that effects the type of reaction, and I chose to look at the merger. I'm thinking of adding magnesium strips hyrdochloric dilute acid (changing the concentration) and measuring the total volume of gas released at regular intervals. I'm not sure though, the best way to find the volume of gas released. Appreciate all the ideas and alternative methods to investigate the effect of concentration on the reaction rate. Thanks
Have you seen the large syringe glass looking thing? that's what I used for a experiment. It looks like a huge syringe measaurements glass and has marked on it. You have to connect to the pipe which is then connected to the test tube cap the test tube has a reagent. Then, as the gas is released from the syringe moves as the gas is pushed out
