How do you become an educational institution? Or what makes a company a school?

For business schools trade body. where you get a certificate or the like, are definitely educational, but what governs this case nothing to say, "your company is a school? or is it just because they are educating people? for what he is saying is the formation and teacing is all it takes. and considers it as you say?

In general, in the U.S., each state gives a permit for education institution to operate there. That is true both for degree-granting universities, and trade schools that offer degree programs and certificates. The state minimum do some checking to see that school is working in good faith and promise to provide services in exchange for tuition and fees. They do not have much in judging the quality of education offered (which is what is for accreditation). A school can be a for-profit company (like the University of Phoenix and Pima Medical Institute) or non-profit (Including the University of California or Cogswell Polytechnical College). For-profit companies can can be authorized and accredited educational institutions – that is not a factor decisive. Each state is going to have different procedures and requirements for approval of educational institutions. For example, in Washington, Education Coordinator Superior Board authorizes degree-granting schools, Washington schools offering non-degree vocational training may be authorized either by the Force Work and Training Education Coordinating Board, the Department of Licensing, or a couple of other agencies, depending on program content. Some states have rules more stringent than others. According to the State of Oregon Office of Degree Authorization, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Alabama, Wyoming, Mississippi and California or have no respect the rules, excessive gaps or poor implementation due to local politics or lack of staff. Securities issued by non-accredited private schools in Alabama, Idaho, Wyoming, Mississippi, or should be evaluated with caution. In particular, Mississippi has no oversight standards.
