Intelligence Test
IQ tests do not prove any kind of intelligence?
I have scored 140 on an IQ test before, but all the logical question test. What about the creative intelligence? Does that even count as part of the CI? I think so, and I'm tired of having low IQ, because people do not include all the parts of human intelligence testing! Do you feel the same or different about this? Thanks.
If you took a battery of CI, which would have consisted of a verbal (language proficiency tests … reading and writing), quantitative reasoning (math) and nonverbal (the logic of the image). These can be classified and a score can be. What seems to be looking at is the criterion to enter what is called "gifted and talented." To be considered gifted, you have to have an IQ of (usually) 127 or more (140 is considered from the genius level) and who would have become in some works of the portfolio, in addition to the evidence. This would have been "classified" (very subjective) by a committee. If the committee believes that his work creativity registered portfolio, which have been classified gifted. There is no way a test of creativity that can be described objectively. Look at Picasso, for example. He is considered an artistic genius, but his work is far different from what is normally considered artistic. What about the poets who write almost incomprehensible but the work is critically acclaimed? Creativity is in the eye of the beholder, so to speak … and can not be "gradual" pretty. However, it has reason to think that there are many types of intelligence. multiple intelligences is a theory out there, for example.
