IQ Test Pattern Recognition

If you're bad at pattern recognition, does not indicate a lack of intelligence?
I noticed a lot of IQ tests have sections pattern recognition, which will give you pictures of something in a pattern, and you have to know what comes next photo. I can never get any of these rights, although decently in all other parts. I was always sure that this section has something to do with logical reasoning, and given that it confuses the light of any pattern, I think I might need in this area. Is there anything I can do to get better at this? These things always in the SAT and GRE probably also and I feel like an idiot for not being able to identify the pictures fool! Is this thing for a very accurate measurement of intelligence of someone, and some people just worse in pattern recognition than others and nothing can be done about it?
Nope. Some people specialize in different thing. I'm terrible at art, but I'm good at English. I'm better in a fraction of what I'm in algebra. Just because you can not do something does not mean you're smart or a complete idiot.
