In the process of learning to draw, the brain goes through a complex chain of brain exercise to learn to control how it handles information. The benefit of learning to draw is linked to other activities and the ability to see things differently, using their right hand brain.
Description of how the left brain and right brain working
Now, let's go one step further to explain what is right and left brain-the brain.
The right brain is based on nonverbal signals to the perceptions of the process. It's good in the work requiring the ability to see similarities, to make connections, to understand how the pieces fit together, and to perceive overall patterns instantaneously. It is able to develop ideas that come from non-linear, multi-dimensional mode of brain exercise.
On the other hand, the left brain excels at verbal, analytical work, rational and logical. It is the dominant partner of the right brain, taking most of the normal activities of the brain, especially when you are at work seriously. He is the captain of planning and systematic works. It has a tendency to use words to describe and define, thinking things step by step, draw conclusions based on facts and logic and thinking in a linear way.
Despite being a linear thinker that has a limited scope of thinking, the left hemisphere of the brain becomes by most of our daily tasks. Only in situations where a particular job is undesirable, or if a task takes too long, too detailed or slow or simply too difficult, then the left side gives up.
If you want the right brain, which is more creative and intuitive more involved in your thought process, you must create opportunities to participate. The trick is to present tasks in a way that discourage the left side of the brain, and create therefore opportunities for the right side of the brain to demonstrate its capability.
By participating in the development, establishing the opportunity for the right side the brain to gain control. If you do it regularly as a hobby, drawing is a powerful mental exercise that can increases your psychic intuition.
More Advance way to develop your psychic intuition
One technique designed by Dr. Betty Edwards to develop subconscious energy intuitive through drawing, is drawing with the nondominant hand looking at images that are upside down.
The rationale is: This puts the left brain in a state of confusion so you can not easily decipher shapes, lost its top-down guidance, they can not join the label and to classify matches the stored memories. This process creates an opportunity to integrate the right brain and allows it to become dominant. When presented a confused picture, the left brain gives up and the right brain takes over.
